Terms of Service
The licence you get when you buy Message Album, the refund policy, and the limits of what any software can promise about Apple's private Messages format.

Licence
Buying Message Album grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on any Mac you own or primarily use. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: the version you buy keeps working, and it keeps working offline.
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense or publish your licence key.
Updates
Updates within the current major version are included. A future major version may be a separate paid upgrade; if it is, the version you bought continues to work and continues to open the archives it made.
Refunds
If Message Album does not do what this website says it does, email support@messagealbum.com within 30 days of purchase and you will get a full refund. You do not need to justify the request.
What the app does and does not promise
Message Album exports the messages and attachments that are present in the Messages library on your Mac, or in the iPhone or iPad backup you point it at. It cannot export what is not there: messages that were never synced to that Mac, attachments that were never downloaded locally, or content that has been deleted and purged. Missing files and undecodable Apple-private payloads are reported as explicit warnings in each archive’s manifest rather than silently omitted.
Apple’s Messages database is private implementation detail and can change between macOS releases. Message Album may require updates to keep reading it. The exported archive format is versioned independently of Apple’s, so archives you have already made remain readable.
The app is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your country.
Records and evidence
Archives include SHA-256 checksums so their contents can be verified later. Whether a particular archive is acceptable as evidence in a legal, employment or other proceeding is decided by the body that receives it, and is not something this software can guarantee.
